The service and cleanliness of this hotel can be improved. I would implore you to look elsewhere, after the experience we had. We had booked a Junior Suite, and the room was pretty bare - for some reason it did not have a fridge. We requested cleaning services the next day and when we got back to the hotel after a day of sight seeing, there was a pair of children's dirty underwear on one of our backpacks. We did not have a child traveling with us, so that underwear did not belong to us. We also noticed the bathroom to be particular dirty for some reason, there were brown stains on the sink and the trashcan looked like it had blood on it. This was a very bizarre experience and makes me wonder if someone brought their child into our room and had an incident. We brought this to the attention of the front desk and they could not explain it. Said maybe the room wasn't thoroughly cleaned prior to our arrival and the cleaning lady found the pair of underwear in our room and thought it was ours, however that does not explain the weird stains in the bathroom. It was such an odd experience and quite frankly did ruin our trip a little. The hotel further didn't compensate us properly and seemed like they were not sure on how to remediate the problem.

This is a great hotel and in a really good location for visiting all the sites. Breakfast was also very good; this needed to be booked by 11pm the night before. Staff are very helpful. We were able to leave luggage at the hotel as we arrived before check-in.

Poor service. Did not feel welcome. The people in the reception not warm not eye contact seemed annoyed me disturbing. Room did not have 4 beds which I specifically asked about before hand. Shower beside womens sauna broken resulted in water on the whole floor. Breakfast was good but expected more overall of the stay. A hotel living on old reputation?

Stayed in Scandic Copenhagen with the whole family so we needed two rooms. Both of them left things to be desired. The shower in eight floor did not provide warm water. Water was lukewarm as its best and it was not a pleasure to shower. The shower in second floor lacked water pressure. When we arrived to hotel, the staffmember did not provide us any of the information her colleague provided to other guest. Even when I asked about it, she only told about the qr code, which we could study the information be ourself. That was helpful, sure, but if you are directly asked. To me, breakfast was average. Nothing fancy or special. I have stayed in many different Scandic hotels and I know not to expect nothing special. But I'm sorry, this was still a let down. Location is great, thought.

Very Basic Room For The Price

For a hotel of this size, we were largely surprised at how bare the room is. Other than a small safe deposit box and an ironing board, there were no basics like a kettle with tea or coffee or even a mini fridge. (You can get hot water in the lobby but have to pay for coffee or tea there in the ‘shop’) The beds were comfortable, but were more like singles. The missus and I had to shift the beds together. The room was relatively dark as it was mostly mood lighting. Electrical plugs were sufficient and there were a couple next to the beds. The room can get noisy especially if the upstairs guests walk heavily or shift luggage or furniture around. Breakfast was okay but they presented the same food on all four days. Even with the option of making a reserved time, it can get really crowded. Room cleaning can also be scheduled via their app but it seemed to be largely changing towels and clearing the rubbish. There was dirt on the floor corners that were there prior to our entry into the room, that were also there during our stay. The bathroom was large and water pressure was good. Wifi worked relatively well, but you have to re-sign in every 24 hours. Location was okay, and you can walk to Copenhagen train central within 10-15 minutes. There are also 3-4 supermarkets nearby.
